Hard Rock Stables 

We offer 40 premium box stalls for your boarding needs.  Our secure stalls have been recently renovated using farm milled wood.  Light, well ventilated, and with new secure footing ideal for maximum drainage and comfort, our stalls quickly become welcoming homes for your horses.

Our barn is well constructed, has superior footing and drainage, and is well lit with amply sized walkways and doors.   All entrances and exits are secure.  Fire protection and a practiced fire plan are in place.   Where possible, we have optimized natural light for your benefit.  In general, Hard Rock offers an airy, light, and stress free environment for you and your horse.

Our boarding options include:

• monthly board- We will welcome you and your horse and call this "home".  Hard Rock offers more than just a great stall, however.   Our arenas, round pens, and trails make us the best choice for you.  No trailering necessary for you to enjoy a trailride - we have fabulous trails right on the property.  We also can extend an invitation to your own trainer, vet, farrier, or riding instructor.   Treat us like your second home.
• seasonal board - Many people have shelter and seasonal accomodation for their horse but need off season board or care.   Perhaps you winter in the south and you have boarding needs in the winter - we can help!  
• vacation board - Don't restrict your traveling desires by having to care for your horses  We are happy to welcome horses for days, weeks, or more while you travel.  We will treat them as our own.  They will be on vacation, too!
• layover - if you re traveling through the area or you are transporting your horse for whatever reason, we will welcome him for the night.
• rehabilitation board - If your horse requires isolation for whatever reason from the rest of your herd, we are happy to help.   Injuries can be treated here by your vet.  Your farrier can work on a specialized program.   You can make repairs to your home facilities or whatever. No matter what your rehab needs, we are ready to serve.

4. house feed program (premium feed program available - ask us!)

7. administration of  horse owner provided wormer (mandatory worm program in force)

9. use of indoor arena (reservations required - use sign up board)

12. unlimited fresh water in all areas

All horses who will be housed at Hard Rock Stables must have a current coggins and evidence of current rabies vaccination.  We also have a mandatory, well managed worm program in place to put your mind at ease.

Training is a big part of your world and your horse's world.  Whether you have a coming two year old who needs manners, a green broke four year old that you want to ride, an experienced teenager who needs a tune-up, or a horse of any age who you would like to learn new skills, we can help.

At Hard Rock, we can offer the services of a horse trainer to set up a program that will meet your needs.  We will also welcome you and your trainer at our arena if you are a boarder or if you would like to rent the arena or round pen.   Call to inquire about details.

Hard Rock Stables offers a transportation service for your horse.   If you are coming to board or for lessons and you do not have a trailer, call us to discuss transportation.  If you are buying or selling horses and you require transportation, call us for pricing.   We are happy to offer secure transportation to you and your horse   We abide by all DOT requirements.   Any horses being transported will require a current coggins and rabies certificate.

We are pleased to offer a new product and a new service!  We recently acquired a real, honest to goodness oat crimper!   Not only can we crimp oats for our lucky boarders, but we can crimp oats that you bring in for your horses!   

In case you didn't know, crimped oats result in delivering not only a tastey feed that your horses will love, but it also maximizes the food value for your animals.  The really great thing is that while crimped oats cost twice as much as whole grain, we can save you money!!!  We can crimp for significantly less than the cost of buying crimped oats in a feed store.

Stop in and watch our machine in action - and if there is any doubt about whether your horse will like our product, take a handful home and ask him!   

We recognize that sometimes people want to sell and buy horses.  Maybe you are selling because your horse doesn't meet your needs or requires a different level of rider.  Maybe you are buying a new best friend.  Either way, we occasionally have the opportunity to be "matchmakers" and we may have a horse for sale that is perfect for you or we can help you sell your horse to a good home and find another.  Regardless, we work on a commission basis and we are happy to try to match horses and people so that everyone is happy.  Ask us for more details.  We will be happy to show you any horses we have available and we have huge networks to help you reach out to other barns to find the perfect horse and/or to sell yours.

All horses on our premises must have a current coggins test.  No horse will be offered for sale withouth evidence of his coggins.
